Basic Handgun Course

Course Description

*Must be 21 years old or older to attend this course This course provides a basic introduction to handguns of all types and calibers. We discuss the principles of safety for handling handguns and how to clean and maintain them. This course also covers how to efficiently operate a handgun and the basic fundamentals of shooting. This course is ideal for people who have little to no knowledge or experience with handguns and are seeking to obtain a basic proficiency. People who have experience with handguns but want to improve their abilities by confirming the basics will also benefit from this course. This course includes both knowledge based instruction and live fire proficiency training with your handgun. *This course does not satisfy Colorado state law requirements to obtain your concealed handgun permit. Students will be required to supply: - Their own handgun - 100 rounds of ammunition in their handgun caliber (Full metal jacket, “range” ammo) - At least 2 magazines for their handgun - Eye protection - Ear protection
